Fast Food = Yummy
I really enjoyed what I ate today. I had 3 of my favourite things and am still probably going to lose some weight. I overspent a little bit today ($3.18 over). I'll make up for it tomorrow by eating 2 apple pies for breakfast ($1.39), a double cheeseburger for lunch ($1.39) and a chicken snack wrap for dinner ($1.89), which totals $5.04 and is only 1450 calories.
Day 1
I weighed 236 pounds this morning (I'm 6 2).
I ate a sausage, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on a toasted everything bagel = 510 calories from Tim Horton's. It cost $2.66.
I ate the Tuesday deal at KFC, 2 pieces of chicken with the fries upped to a poutine. That is roughly 1240 calories and $5.06
I ate a double cheeseburger with Big Mac sauce
which was 490 calories and cost $1.46.
For a grand total of 2240 calories today and $9.18.

12 Days of Fast Food
From April 22nd to May 3rd, I will eat nothing but fast food. I will also do this on no more than $72, $6 a day.
I'm doing this for a couple reasons.
First, to prove a point. Ever since I watched Supersize Me, I've been fascinated by the concept of nothing but fast food for a month. However, I had major issues with the way Morgan Spurlock presented it. Sure, you'll gain some weight if you get a combo every single meal. Especially if you get the bigger sandwiches and drink every last drop of pop and eat every last fry. However, when I go to McDonald's or Wendy's or Burger King, I often just get an item off the value menu, no fries, no pop. Tasty, cheap and not bad for you. The thin Big Mac fanatic with normal cholesterol is a good example of how you can eat McDonald's and still be perfectly healthy.
This brings me to my third reason: Losing weight. Many people who advise me to lose weight say I need to stop eating fast food. I disagree. I'm fat primarily because I binge fairly often. Not on fast food, I just eat way too much.
Fast food is just inexpensive, tasty, convenient food. It can be any kind of food. It can be a turkey breast sub from Subway or it can be a Baconator from Wendy's. There is nothing inherently wrong with fast food. However, because it is so convenient and cheap, it is easy to eat a ton of it. And if you do, you'll gain weight. But that's not the restaurant's fault, that's you not exercising self-control.
So I am going to eat nothing but fast food for 12 days, averaging $6 a day. I'll stick mostly to the value menu and eat lots of meat. McDonald's double cheeseburgers will be a staple. I'll post the nutritional information for most of what I eat and keep you up to date on my weight and how hungry I get.
